Introduction to the Course

Fine Arts is a sub sector of creative services, referring to art created for commercial purposes, primarily advertising.

It is a relatively recent phenomenon in India, which refers to the use of different art media for commercial functions. A commercial artist should be creative & original.

The professionals in this dynamic industry can help marketers & advertisers grab the attention of an always-fickle public, then creatively persuade them to buy the product.

The course includes designing of books, ads, signs, posters & other display to promote sale / acceptance of product, services or ideas.

At PfW, the students acquire the ability to organize information, gain knowledge of fine arts, visualization & media. The course nurtures & aligns the creative energy in an individual & gives her the technical edge & finesse, required to survive in the arts industry, where competition is ever increasing.

Careers

Students can choose a career either in Designing, Art Studios or the Advertisement Industry. They can also work as Graphic Designers in Publishing Houses, Non-Verbal Presentation Designers for Television, Graphic Equalizers in Advertisement & Software firms, Art Directors in Theater & Film Productions.
